They call me the newborn whisperer

…but you can call me mimi

I love the calmness newborns bring to the room, especially when they’re asleep. Whether your babies snuggle up in dad’s arms throughout your whole session or I get to see their happy giggly sides, your kiddos are welcome to be themselves in front of my lens.

I fell in love with photography by taking pictures of my own newborns. I noticed the way the light poured in through our window, and I became enamored with the details that lit up when everything else was in shadow, like his little feet as he learned to crawl. Those little details warm my heart.

I speak three languages, (Hebrew, Arabic, and English) and I still can’t always find the right words to describe what motherhood feels like.

PHOTOS SPEAK WHEN words fall short

In the moments that are too big or too deep for language, photos are the best way I know to share what I feel. As I watch my babies grow up, or observe on quiet, snowy mornings as my dog and kiddos sit by the window together, I snap photos. I’ve found that photos are a universal language. And I would be honored to share with you how beautiful your family is through my lens.

I love seeing you make your toddlers giggle

But my favorite moments during sessions are the quieter ones, when I get to connect with you one on one. I love when we can bond over the difficulties and joys of parenting. I love learning about how you’re feeling and what becoming a mom has been like for you.

Sometimes, in these quieter moments, the light and shadows hit just right, and I can capture your feelings as you look at your baby.

These moments are almost like magic.
